Acer Palmatum Group: Dissectum - Red
Spring foliage is an interesting red. It is more of a bronze-red. The brilliant tone stands out well
in the landscape. In late summer the foliage turns bronze-greenish and assumes a prominent crimson-red in the fall. The medium leaves have seven very long, thin lobes, each divided into deeply dissected side lobes, and each side lobe in turn deeply toothed. The greenish leaf
stalks are short.
