Acer palmatum Group: Matsumurae - Red

The new leaves of this Dutch cultivar are a bright pink-red in the spring before turning a purple-red for the summer, then yellow orange and red in the fall. the medium-sized mainly five-lobed leaves are deeply divided. The growth and shape are similar to that of the true Atropurpurem, vigorous and upright.
