Acer Palmatum Group: Sapindaceae

Another bright pink-red “spring flowering” cultivar, and similar in shape and size to the well known ‘De Shojo’. It differs in the variable-shaped palmatum-type leaves which can be small and crinkly with narrow lobes to large very broad-lobed leaves. The leaves slowly become green with bronzed margins for the summer, turning orange-red in the autumn.
