Acer Palmatum Group: Sapindaceae

This is one of our most popular Weeping Japanese Maple trees with many attractive features in addition to its elegant weeping, cascading structure. Acer Palmatum Dissectum Ever Red has a dissected leaf which is feathery and graceful, and a dramatic foliage colour. The crimson-burgundy leaves of spring continue to decorate the tree throughout summer before displaying bronze shades in autumn. Full sun can lead to slight colour fading so this tree does best positioned in partial shade and is suited to moist, well-drained soil.
